Safe Steps on the Green is a charity golf day and community after-party raising critical funds for Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre, supporting anyone escaping family violence across Victoria.

This is more than a golf event.

It’s a community choosing not to look away.

Why This Day Exists

For many, the most dangerous moment is the moment they decide to leave. It is often a space of being “too scared to stay, but too scared to leave”.

Safe Steps answers that moment.

They provide 24/7 crisis response, safety planning and emergency accommodation. When someone makes that call, there needs to be a system ready.

This day exists so that response can continue.

Every team registered.
Every raffle ticket purchased.
Every sponsor who steps forward.

Helps fund real support in real time.

The Experience

In the Morning:

⛳ Westgate Golf Club

Teams of four (minimum one female player per team)

10:00am: Arrival & Registration
11:00am: Tee Off – 4 Person Ambrose

We are limiting the field to 15 teams to ensure a quality, connected experience.

In the Afternoon:

From approximately 2:30pm.

Part of Barbarian Brewing Co.’s Pints with Purpose series.
